I battled my weight for more than 40 years. I've been up and down the scale with all the diets and restriction. I used food to comfort and entertain me. Emotional eating became a friend and eventually an enemy; promising to make life better, while adding pounds making me miserable.
I changed my life when I took a risk and started working with a life coach. She helped me gain control over food. I used thought work to figure out my own solutions and look at the facts not the fiction in my mind. I also became my own best friend, and no longer beat myself up for making mistakes.
Every diet can work, but I wasn't willing to eliminate everything to get to my weight goal and re-gain it when I started eating "normally" again. I refused to do anything that I wouldn't do the rest of my life.
Now, it's my mission to help other women solve their fight with food! Let's do this together!
